Most of Attison's wardrobe is hand-me-downs or gifts, so we have lots of sports gear that we need to represent for each loving family member.  This day A wore his Redskins hoodie without pants. 

I read with my Da a lot

Lift the flap books are Attison's favorite, especially when there is a touch-and-feel aspect under the flap.  I've had a hard time finding them with flaps that are big enough he can't just rip them off.  If I find one with little flaps in the library that already has damage on it from other kids I'm more likely to borrow it, just in case our curiosity gets the best of us. 

I mentioned Bizzy Bear last week, which are great books.  There is also a series with Peek-a-boo in all of the titles that has big, giant flaps with pictures underneath that he can point to and touch.  We borrowed one book called Peek-A-Boo Baby that I think has encouraged him to say "baby!" from time to time. It is fun to read books to him that he pays attention to and is learning from!

During renovation, we uncovered this fireplace.  We won't be keeping it exposed (heat > style) so we took some family photos on the hearth, while there still is one. 

 I really like this picture of Tim, even though Attison and I aren't looking at all.

High-five!!

 This is a picture of me sprinkling leaves on baby #2 for a classic fall photo.  You can see some of the leaf sprinkling handiwork in the photos I posted the other day of Attison on the steps. 

Srh, Andy and Grandma

Sarah, Andy and Grandma came for the weekend to help watch Attison and work on the house.  They were awesome help and were more than willing to work, work, work while they were here.

I'm glad we snapped some photos of them before they left!

Ball Pit Birthday!

For Attison's first birthday we bought him these balls for a ball pit.  It was pretty warm on November 1st, so we put it in the front "yard" for him to play with!
