Attison and I took our friends Christine, Elliott & Emily and Josh & Jenny strawberry picking. Elliott was the only baby (he is about 1 1/2) that was able to really understand what was happening, but we got some berries to eat, freeze and make smoothies with and make some jam.

Thanks for smiling Sydney
We're so happy we celebrated Sam's graduation because Attison stole this necklace and a balloon from Sam to play with and bring home with him.

Attison says "Happy Graduation Sam!"
My cousin Sam graduated from High School this year and we celebrated with her at Myrtle Beach. She wasn't too thrilled about the "graduation walk" we made her recreate, but she was happy to grab that smiling baby at the end :)

Things I've eaten
This post is not about how awesome Attison is at eating solid foods (peas, beans, all kinds of fruits, avocado, etc.). It is about the other things he would like to eat, and has tried to eat, in the past few days.
For example:
For example:
- every flip flop
- the wheel of his stroller
- this chair
- the dog's bowl
- the entire vacuum cleaner, but primarily the cord (and every cord he can magically find) *
- the divot in the kitchen floor
- the wheel of his toy (not the colorful, spinning, noise making, features of the toy. He flips it over and goes to town on the wheels that have been pushed across the carpet and with the help of static electricity, collected a dog's worth of fresh shed Jenny hair.)
Items not pictured:
- piles of spit up
- paper
- carpet
- the sides of his pack n play
- his feet
- the fray on my cut off jeans (Slight shame for admitting to wearing cut off jeans)
- wet (and or soapy) washcloths
- the non-slip bath mat in the tub
- Jenny herself
Life is special with a mobile, orally fixated infant. Our last night of vacation, Tim and I went out to eat alone and Sarah and Andy were going to nephew-sit. As we walked out the door, Sarah said "Wait! Come back! Watch!" We had been watching Attison rock and roll and step and fall for about a week, but as we walked away, he put his moves to work and followed us 3' across the living room floor. "Welp, guess this is the last night of my free life. Good luck Srh!" I said...and shut the door. How right I was.
*If you'd like to talk about an awesome vacuum cleaner, please ask me someday why this is one of the greatest purchases I have ever made.

Fisher Price
This toy was a hand-me-down from our friends Steph, Kevin and Ethan. We love it. It has lots of different toys that spin, flip, roll, move, and more things. But....it doesn't use batteries and doesn't sing! Horray!
Since it is on wheels he pushes it away and then wiggles towards it (well, now he crawls, but he was wiggling and rolling before!). When he is ready to stand and walk, the red handle at the top is for holding on and pushing.
Dear, Fisher Price. Please make more toys that are multi-purpose and quiet! Love, Steph
