St Anthony

A opened his cabinet door this morning and pulled out his St Anthony prayer card.  I'm not sure how it got there, but I used to keep this prayer card in my kitchen for all of the stupid times I lost my wallet/keys/phone.  Remarkably, the prayer to St Anthony has worked for me on numerous occasions, especially when my wallet/keys/phone were in absurd location (like the one time my wallet was out on the grill with the house phone.)

A didn't really even play with the kitchen this morning, he just opened the cupboard, said some gibberish at the card, put it back in and went to play with his stacking cups. 

If you have something you have lost and need some help, here is the prayer to St Anthony.  You can implore him to ask Jesus to help you find it. 

O holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and charity for his creatures made you worthy while on earth to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me the favor I seek in this novena (State your intention). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so, you are the saint of miracles. O gentle and loving Saint Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and thee gratitude of my heart will always be yours.
