Phone Book

Here at 220 S Saint Clair we have a thing we like to call "the internet." Therefore, we don't need a printed phone book. Ever.

I usually shred it and periodically in the composter. If you tear on the grain of the paper it is really easy to rip into strips. Then you just pitch fork it in with your compostible organic material (1/3 paper, 1/3 food stuffs, 1/3 yard debris - ish) and BAM! Compost. Note: it is not that easy. This is not about composting though, it is just an explanation as to why the scenes below are really not that far off from a ritual that I had even prior to having children. I just threw the scraps on the floor first before sweeping them up and throwing them in the compost.

Mama is 30

I'm 30 today. This is my 30 selfie.
I enlarged our eyes. Because it is funny.

I also bought myself this cake, filled it with candles and was only able to blow out 29. I wished that Dennis would sleep through the night, and even though I didn't blow out that last candle he slept from 7:30-5:00am.
My dad sent the editable arrangement, which was delicious, and came in a pretty awesome little pitcher that we will definitely be using. It's so practical! (We do still have the plastic cupcake shaped bowl my last birthday editable arrangement came in, we play with it in the bath tub.)

Church

After church nursery time, before communion, we juggle both children for that undetermined amount of time before we can let them run free, shout, and shove themselves full of carbs at the coffee hour. This week Tim and Attison colored on the floor. It was the cutest thing I've seen in awhile.

In the nursery the kids always get a snack and a little dixie cup of water. Usually it is goldfish or animal crackers. The older kids have taught Attison to dip his cookies in his water. Which has turned into putting all kinds of foods in all kinds of beverages. Surprisingly, we offered him cookies and milk once at home and he was NOT interested in dipping them. Below you will see Attison's cherry tomatoes in a glass of water. Because they are so very delicious when you dip them in water...?

Dennis goes to McCbg.

I swear Attison and I were there too, but there are no pictures to prove it.
