note: as an update - I thought I was a smarty pants and wrote about what I thought the above picture was.  I was incorrect, so I deleted it. Not only was my analysis wrong, but the description of the potential malfunction (if I had been correct) was also inadequate. Sooooo nevermind.  I am not a home inspector. This is a roof with some stuff on it.

I love having dinner outside.  At CAMP, at home, anywhere, anytime.  Especially when the sun is setting and there is time to relax, talk and there are beautiful things to look at.  Here are some photos from after dinner, before the evening activities began.

Grandma's turn!

I'm submitting this photo for the annual Thanksgiving photo contest.  I think it is a winner!

When in doubt, grab your kid as a shield!

I think this moment was pretty innocent. "we're cheering for Kathy to go and she is going to go."

But Kathy's stance and the intense eye contact from the children makes it look like they are having a stand-off.  I laugh every time I look at this picture.

Aaaaahhhh, these pictures bring me so much joy.

1. Look at the hill, the lake, the sky...is it any surprise that we find so much joy in this place?
2. Kids v adults.  Always a winner.  (unless you are a teenager, then no one knows which category you fall into and you get hit from both sides.  Sorry Emma!)
3. Being pregnant excludes you from dangerous activities (being hit by juggling balls, running downhill, etc.)

4. We all worked together to clean up the sillstring from the grass.  These are some stand-up folks I tell ya...quality people :)
