Trains are our life

These guys love trains. I put A down for a nap and then went to put D to sleep. I heard A playing with trains for awhile in his room after I left. I went back in and found him like this:

It seems as if he played with his trains until he just couldn't stand up anymore and collapsed into his bed for a snoozer.

And this little guy was PSYCHED to get this Thomas shirt and new shoes :)

trains and green strollers

Attison is crying in this swing picture. He said he wanted to swing and that D should swing too.  Then he kept saying "no mama go beep beep beep!" As much as I tried, I have yet to determine what that means. He wouldn't stop crying so we just got out of the swings.

Not to worry, we played in the climbing jungle gym for awhile. I got tired and sat in it. They got bored and went to play with the slide.

Then we went for a walk and saw a train!

2nd stroller ride of the day, Attison pushes.

Happy Easter!

Another important day memorialized by blurry pictures from a crappy phone camera. Meh.

Elephant Poop

We went to the zoo today. We stayed primarily in the animals' houses because it was pretty cold. We watched an elephant get a bath and eat some carrots with her trunk. There was also a big, big, big elephant that was chowing down on some straw.  He kept looking at us with his big elephant eyes. Lastly, we saw some elephants in another enclosure that was inside, but instead of being in with them separated by a big, iron, fence, we just looked through the window.  There were 3 elephants and poop all over the place, which of course Attison was obsessed with. He just kept saying "dere is poop, and dere is poop. MAMA! Wook at all the poop!"
"It's ok buddy, someone will come get it later."
"No mama, the poop!"
"Remember how we go for walks with Jenny and when she poops we pick it up?"
*blank stare in my general direction.*
"Well, someone is going to come pick up the poop for the elephants, so we don't need to worry about it."
"Yeah, pick up the poop for Jenny."
"Let's go see the monkeys. Come on, we're going to go to the monkey house."
"Maybe the monkeys can pick up the poop for the elephants.  Mama, the monkeys pick up the poop for the elephants."

So then we went to the monkey's house. The monkeys must have been bored out of their minds from being inside for the long cold winter because they were all up in our faces. These aren't great pictures, but you can see that the kids were totally having some one-on-one face time with the monkeys.

Dennis and the blue monkey

Attison and the gorilla baby or maybe the chimpanzee.
I can't tell and they were both hanging out with us for awhile.

This guy is definitely the gorilla baby.

Boys.
