Spring Break

March 9th Tim drove to North Carolina for spring break to “chaperone” (we use this term loosely) a group of Pitt Habitat students while they worked on site for a Habitat for Humanity affiliate there.  Working for Habitat on Spring Break isn’t new for us, in fact, we’re quite experienced.

Steph worked for Habitat for Humanity International after college for a year

Attison and I didn’t go this year for obvious reasons, but instead of staying home we decided to go visit Gloria, Scott, Sydney and Sam in Florida.

Attison flew wonderfully on the plane.  I nursed him during take off and landing.  He fussed a little bit, but kind of not really.  It was mostly because he wanted to stretch and wiggle and I had to hold him (we didn’t buy a seat for him).  As you might expect, many people fell for his charming two dimple smile and giant blue eyes, so we had quite the welcome reception, in spite of the dreaded “oh crap that baby is going to scream this whole time” instinct that takes over when you see a kid on an airplane.  

In summary, this kid rocks.
