greens and butterflies

These are from March 21st.  Attison eats his butterfly while I prepare dinner.

I often debate whether or not I should share my inner monologue when I post these pictures.  I'm curious what your initial thoughts are when you see the picture below.  Please share in the comments.

I walked to Whole Foods, with the boy strapped snugly to my chest and bought broccoli and asparagus for dinner, to cook with the pepper and hot sausage I already had.  Win. The celery got garbagedisposaled (not placed in that shiny stainless steel composter you see sitting on the table, as you might have guessed).   Lose. The wall behind the island says "someone please, for the love of god, sand and paint me!"  We've since decided to tear that wall out, not sand and paint it, so in the mean time, welcome to our kitchen. : / End summation - Neutral feelings all around.
