Then we chose some bricks to match our existing bricks.
It wasn't actually snowing, but google decided that this visual effect was necessary.
These are the steel I-beams that will be put in above the windows to hold the weight of the two courses of brick, three stories high above them.

I would also like to note that later in this day Tim took about 12 pictures of his own face to surprise me. I didn't post any because he would be embarrassed, but if there is ever a need to humiliate my husband with 12 close up shots of him making silly faces...well, he walked right into that one. (and they are backed up online, heh heh heh)
