Did I mention I'm pregnant? I am.
Here are the answers to your questions:
Due late Feb/early March 2014.
We'll find it the gender sometime in September.
Yes we were surprised, but we understand biology, so not really surprised, just silly surprised.
Yes we are still going to do our home renovations.
Yes we are going to continue to cloth diaper.
We don't need anything right now, but when we have baby if you'd like to come visit and bring us delicious food that would be great.
Everyone's favorite child birth instructor Kathy always says "parents of a newborn don't need house guests, they need help. Tell the guests to come back when you've slept." The long and short of it is, I'm real awkward about giving and receiving gifts, so I'd rather not go there. A gift we would love to receive is to come downstairs one morning with a newborn in our home to find warm bagels, cream cheese and notice that our floors have been swept and mopped. Ok, well that is a gift I'd like to receive. Tim would like the bagels. Or a pizza. okokok, I'd like a pizza too. A more traditional gift will be appreciated and not turned away (even if it is sparikly pink and frilly), however, I'm probably going to forget your birthday (anniversary, day you didn't die, child's birthday, etc. etc.) so if you forgo the tradition I'm cool with that.
Woah, another tangent. Sorry.
Thanks for reading. Attison is going to be a big brother! We might change the blog name, but cousin Lisa is still "Trapped in New Jersey" and has been writing from Southern California for over a year. Once you have followers, why mess with a good thing?

Yes, I've been unable to come up with a better blog name (what if I call it Living Large in SoCal and then we move again?) so I've just left it alone.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new baby! What sort of renovation are you doing on the house?
